Revermont Museum
ABOUT
Once a great vineyard, Revermont has managed to hold on to the innate spirit of conviviality of winegrowers and their fierce attachment to the quality produce of the region. An invaluable inventory of the varieties of plants and vegetables cultivated locally has been carried out at Revermont Museum as part of their vegetable garden and conservatory. It has almost 650 different species of local, ancient and strange plants! Housed in the village’s former town hall-cum-schoolhouse, the museum features a reconstruction of a traditional boys’ classroom from times gone by. An authentic representation, complete with original wooden reading desks and benches, a blackboard with the proverb of the day, even down to the boys’ inkwells.
